Anten
Our third largest site is named after the nearby lake Anten. According to local legend, in the Middle Ages a knight named Gomer lived on an islet in the lake. He killed the giant Åland, who lived in a gorge in Ålanda near Anten. The giant Åland was the lover of the mermaid Anta, who took her revenge by letting the water rise and drown the knight’s castle on Loholmen.
Knight Gomer is said to have saved his family by promising to give himself up voluntarily to the mermaid. The place where he surrendered to the seamstress is a stone on the shore called “Gomer’s stone”, where, according to local custom, you should lift your hat when you pass it for good wind and fishing luck.
Our conference room Anten is a bright and well-adapted room, suitable for most meetings and has the advantage of being close to the reception.
