Our kitchen and first-class food & beverage service is something we are very proud of. As befits a city hotel with 100-year traditions, our restaurant selection is very flexible and we have environments and menus for all occasions!

Grand Matsal & Bar is the hotel’s restaurant and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and A la Carte. We are happy to help on holidays and moments of remembrance.

Our head-chef Tobias Binder and his team prepare all the food from scratch. They work with seasonal ingredients and mix international dishes with Swedish classics.

The drinks are carefully selected for our menus by our restaurant manager Alexandra Fredman and restaurateur Peter Persson. We are particularly proud of our large range of whiskeys with over 70 varieties as well as our range of beers from Alingsås Brewery, produced in Alingsås of course.

Breakfast at other hours can be arranged. Ask at frontdesk. Breakfast in-room, order at frontdesk the day before, with an additional charge of 100 sek.

Lunch is served on weekdays with serving at the table. Advanced booking or just drop by.

We are dedicated to present dinnerexperiences with high quality. Our restaurant and bar is open for guests at the hotel as well as for the locals.
