The ”Café-town” Alingsås is lovely for families to explore. Swimming, play and adventure with lots of “fika”. And at the hotel, you can expect to be pampered!
In Alingsås you can not only take a “fika”, but also experience lots of fun in the city centre. Walk along cobblestone streets, wooden houses, discover courtyards, the castle and several fun playgrounds.
At Nolhaga Parkbad, the pool area is divided in three parts. One part with pools for the smaller children, with different activities such as play sculptures, bubble zones and a water slide. The other part is for the bigger children and contains an adventure pool, a cave with a waterfall, and more. Here you can also find an area where you make your own waves. The third part is located outside, where you will find an outdoor swimming pool and a bubble pool. Here you will have an enchanting view over the park and castle, and an experience out of the ordinary.
You cannot visit Alingsås without “fika” – we recommend a visit at “Nygrens Café” which is located in one of the towns cozy courtyards. We also suggest “Ekstedts bageri & Café” or “Café Viola”.
In the evening, you will be served a well prepared two-course dinner based on seasonal ingredients in our hotel restaurant. The children have their own menu to choose from!

* The price is for 2 adults and 2 children up to 17 years.
The price for additional children in the room is 500 SEK per child.
If there is only one child in the room the price is reduced by 500 SEK.
For a family with one adult and two children the price is 2195 SEK.
** The entrance to Nolhaga Parkbad is valid on your arrival day, if nothing else is agreed upon. You collect your voucher for entrance in the reception at Grand Hotel before your visit. Please note that your arrival to Nolhaga Parkbad must be during their entry-times!
*** Your dinner is booked at 6PM if nothing else is agreed upon. If you wish to change your reservation time or if you have any allergies, please contact us. Should the restaurant be closed during your stay, we will arrange your dinner at the reputable Italian restaurant Momenti Liberi (600 meters from the hotel), or at restaurant Skåål (opposite the hotel).
Entry-times for Nolhaga Parkbad
Monday from 12.45, 13.45, 14.45 etc. The last entry-time is at 16.45.
Tuesday – Friday from 9.45, 10.45, 11.45 etc. The last entry-time is at 16.45.
Saturday – Sunday from 9.45, 10.45, 11,45 etc. The last entry-time is at 14.00.
